A podcast about leveling up your health, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I started this podcast with the belief that elevating our health allows us to find higher levels of prowess, impact, human freedom, deeper levels of love, dial in the finest of attitudes, and accelerate our contribution to the world. Stepping towards health sovereignty and stepping away from myopically and chronically focusing on unnatural and denatured sources to sustain health allows us to realize our bodies innate brilliance when properly cared for physically, mentally and spiritually. On the other hand, when our only perception is believing our body does not contain an innate wisdom, we risk adopting the paradigm of a victim and acceptance of mediocrity. Less than thriving health not only becomes acceptable but one's only perception of life. This permeates all other areas of life. It threatens our purpose, passions, and creativity, dilutes our craft, our relationships can suffer, and our zest for life is put at risk. A life as such is what I believe is living a life below your true health potential. You absolutely can level up your health, achieve health sovereignty and experience life at your highest health potential. Today’s guest is internationally published health and beauty photographer and writer Dr. Natiya Guin. Natiya is a licensed naturopathic doctor focused on raising healthy families and increasing confident health. She also has a masters in education & created the first educational yoga program in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
With the knowledge of the body and movement as a yoga teacher, the inherent wisdom of how to treat the root causes of health obstacles as a naturopathic doctor, and the creative, healing eye of a photographer and art therapist, Natiya supports clients in finding their whole health. She makes your inner and outer beauty, empowerment, and whole-being come alive.
These worlds of art and medicine are actually deeply intertwined and set her apart in the healing and creative arts space. Being a doctor makes her a better photographer- she uses wellness and healing to empower her clients to feel whole, nourished, and beautiful from the inside out. Being a photographer and art therapist makes her a better doctor- photography and the arts can be powerful tools in the toolkit of healing on a holistic level. Adding to her unique skill set and vision, her training as a yoga teacher provides another healing tool and a vast depth of knowledge for how the body moves and looks- the key to capturing a beautiful image!
